Pikes Peak Waterways has secured several grants supporting implementation of the COS Creek Plan. These include support from the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB), a federal WaterSMART grant, and an Economic Development Administration (EDA) grant focused on neighborhoods along the creek corridor. These grants are independent of the Ecosystem Restoration of Monument and Fountain Creek Section 203 Feasibility Study (COS Creek Plan Feasibility Study), which is the first step toward potentially receiving federal support.
As a next step, the EDA grant is the focus of five neighborhood meetings along the creek corridor. The public is invited to any of the meetings noted below.
Information will be available at all meetings in Spanish; however, additional Spanish interpretation will be provided at the Sept. 29 meeting.
