Martin Wood

Martin Wood is Senior Vice Chancellor for University Advancement at University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). In his role he oversees development, marketing communications, public and community relations, federal relations, alumni relations, strategic partnerships and major university events. Wood currently serves on the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation Board, chairs the Regional Leadership Forum and serves on the National Cybersecurity Center Board of Directors, Wood is also the co-founder of the Colorado Springs Regional Leader’s Trips. Wood is past chair of the Penrose St-Francis Board of Trustees and in 2018 received the Association of Fundraising Professionals Southern Colorado Chapter Outstanding Fundraising Executive award.  Martin has worked in higher education for 45 years. Wood received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Emporia State University in Kansas.
